I'm sorry to hear you've dropped something into the lint trap. I would suggest using a long lint brush to try to retrieve the item. If you're unable to reach it without disassembling the dryer, then Samsung recommends having a qualified technician assist you to ensure the dryer is taken apart then reassembled safely and correctly. For assistance locating an authorized service center in your area, please call 800-SAMSUNG.

To run a Spin Only cycle on the WF330, press and hold the Spin button for about 3 seconds, until you hear a chime sound. The display should show how many minutes the Spin Only cycle will last. To adjust the time, press the Spin button to cycle through the preselected time options.

For more information, follow the link below to open the Troubleshooting Guide, then select "Operation" > "How To Run A Spin Only Cycle": http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

The WF330 does have an internal water heater which functions primarily to boost the temperature of the home's water supply to a minimum of 150°F to sanitize. Most, but not all, of Samsung's front load washers have the internal water heater for this purpose. During cold water wash cycles, the water temperature is regulated by cycling the hot water on and off to ensure the cold water meets the minimum 60°F temperature required by many of today's detergents. The washer controls the warm and hot water washes by regulating the hot and cold water inlet valves.

I'm sorry to hear your DV330AEW electric dryer is not heating. The most common cause of the dryer not heating is obstructed air flow from a clogged lint trap or vent ducts. Please check the vents for blockage. Other factors to check are to make sure the dryer is plugged into a dedicated 30-amp power supply that is functioning properly, and an appropriate heated dry cycle is selected. If you've checked each of these suggestions and the dryer still will not heat, it will require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

The WF330 washer and DV330 dryer are both 38-5/8" high. There is no specific clearance requirement for the tops of the machines as long as there is sufficient air circulation behind the dryer, in particular. If your laundry room is in an alcove or closet, there are specific clearance requirements in order to ensure adequate ventilation. I've attached those requirements below.

Question

Where does the strain relief connector attach?

With respect to your inadequate answer:"Samsung recommends having a licensed electrician install the wiring for the DV330. Please refer to the User Manual for specifications." The User Manual does not indicate where the strain relief connector attaches. I'm not asking how to wire the cord . I'm, asking where the recommended support piece attaches as the installation crew left it hanging on the back of the dryer unattached and useless.

I'm sorry your installation crew did not complete the installation. The strain relief connector attaches beneath the cover plate with the wiring. As such, it is something that Samsung recommends being completed by a technician. I would suggest you contact the installers and ask them to complete the project or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help you find a qualified technician in your area.

Question

Sensor drying

I asked once before about the sensor drying....still have to keep running the dryer longer after it turns off during sensor dry............tell me if you want to dry items on low, if you use sensor drying you can't combine permanent press and a low temp. Won't the more delicate clothes be harmed at say normal? This is what i have always been advised. Could the sensor need adjusting?
Also why do sheets end up in big balls during the drying cycles?

There are several possible reasons why the Sensor Dry cycle in your DV330 is not drying the clothes thoroughly. Please click on the link below then select "Troubleshooting ► > Clothing And Laundry ► > Clothes Are Damp At The End Of A Dry Cycle" for a list of suggestions: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber...

If you'd like to use the Low heat setting for a Sensor Dry cycle, you can select "Delicates" rather than "Permanent Press" which is pre-set for Medium heat. Each cycle has its own pre-programmed settings; please refer to the Cycle Chart in the back of your User Manual for details.

To help prevent sheets from rolling up into balls, try adding a few towels to the dryer load. Three to four towels is usually sufficient.

While there is not a special setting that can prevent your sheets from rolling up in the dryer, adding a few towels to a load of bedding is usually enough to resolve the issue. This can happen as a result of the large capacity of the DV330, so if it persists your best bet is to add more items to the load in the dryer.

Dryer Temperatures

Is it only with the Time Dry cycle that you can adjust the different temperatures? I am unable to dry on low heat while using the Perm Press mode and only on Med. or Hi temperatures when using the Normal cycle. Is this how this machine has been programmed for drying or do I have a problem?

You're correct that the dryer settings do not allow the temperature to be changed on most Sensor Dry settings, except Normal, which does allow either High or Medium temperatures. This is because the pre-programmed cycles are designed with the specific type of fabric in mind, along with the ideal temperature for that fabric. The Time Dry cycle does allow for any of the temperature selections. Please see the attached image of the Cycle Chart below.

Question

Why is there a clicking noise when my dryer is on?

My dryer rack fell in the dryer and made a loud bang noise. I was trying to dry my daughter's teddy bear. I then removed the rack and bear and tried to dry a towel and the dryer makes a clicking noise when the dryer turns inside. Why is this?

Since it isn't likely that the falling dryer rack caused damage to the dryer drum, perhaps a piece of plastic broke off the rack, or something fell off the teddy bear or the towel and is now spinning inside the drum causing the clicking noise. I would suggest looking inside the drum or in the lint trap for the object.
