Do I have to do something special to make the sensor drying work? The dryer just keeps going.

There are several possible reasons why your dryer is continuing to run. If the dryer continues to run after the clothes are dry, check the control panel to see if "Wrinkle Prevent" is activated. This would be indicated by a flashing rectangle in the timer countdown display. You can deactivate this feature by pressing the Wrinkle Prevent button on the control panel.
If the clothes are dry, Wrinkle Prevent is not selected, and the dryer is continuing to run, your dryer may require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

If the clothes in the dryer are not dry, but the cycle is taking an excessively long time, please clean the lint screen and check vent ducts for clogs and obstructions. Excessive lint build up may cause the dryer to run inefficiently.
