How bad will it hurt the dryer if you dry clothes without the flter in place?

My wife is freaking out cause she dryed a load of clothes without the fliterin place. Will this hurt the dryer if she has only done this one time?

Since the purpose of the filter is primarily to help prevent lint from entering the vent ducts, the potential for damage to the dryer really depends on how much lint may have been produced since some fabrics produce a lot more lint than others. It's a good idea to have the vents cleaned annually. In the meantime, please check the exhaust vent on the outside of the house, if possible, when the dryer is running to ensure air is able to exit. If you don't feel the hot air escaping, then there may be a clog which should be cleared before continuing to use the dryer.

Please check to see if the Wrinkle Prevent option is selected, which would cause the dryer to signal intermittently and continue to tumble after the heated dry cycle is complete. You can turn Wrinkle Prevent on or off by pressing the button on the control panel. I need the instructions to install the side-vent kit.

I am having a washer/dryer set delivered today, going to setup with a stacking kit and want to change the dryer vent to the side. I looked and couldn't find the instructions to do this. Please provide.

Instructions for installing the DV-1A side vent kit in your DV231AEW are included with the kit which is available for purchase through most major retailers that carry Samsung appliances, as well as through SamsungParts.com. Samsung recommends having it installed professionally to ensure it is done safely.
