Not to worry - dryer sheets are fine. Unlike some manufacturers, Samsung sensors will not be effected by the use of dryer sheets.

The matching gas dryer for the WF218ANB is model number DV218AGB. To find a retailer near you that carries this model, please click on the "Where to buy" button on the right side of the product's home page, then enter your zip code and select a radius. Distribution of particular models changes frequently, so checking back periodically may yield different results.

If the dryer is not heating up, and the lint filter and vent ducts are clear, please make sure a heated-dry cycle is selected and cycle the power by turning the circuit breaker off then on again. If the problem persists, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether service will be necessary.

The DV218 and DV219 are very similar models. The difference is mainly in the design of the door handle: the DV218 has a pocket handle while the DV219's handle is metal, and extends out from the door slightly, similar to the DV328 model. Both the DV218 and DV219 are available in Neat White and Breakwater Blue, and both are part of the model line-up which has earned the JD Power & Associates' Overall Customer Satisfaction Award for two straight years (2008-2009).

I'm sorry to hear your dryer is not heating. The most common cause of the dryer not heating is obstructed air flow from a clogged lint trap or vent ducts. Please check the vents for blockage. Other factors to check are to make sure the dryer is plugged into a dedicated 30-amp power supply that is functioning properly, and an appropriate heated dry cycle is selected. If you've checked each of these suggestions and the dryer still will not heat, it will require service. To initiate service through Samsung, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

There are currently two models of Samsung pedestals that are compatible with the DV218AEB dryer: WE357A7B and WE357A0B. The latter has a new "Quick Install" system to make mounting the washer or dryer on top of the pedestal easier, though the pedestals themselves are the same. For pricing and availability, please contact your local appliance retailer that carries Samsung products.

The lifespan of a dryer belt depends on several factors, such as the weight or size of the loads being dried, the frequency of use and the temperature of the cycles. For help determining whether there is something happening with your particular dryer that is effecting the belt, I would suggest having it serviced by an authorized Samsung service center if you haven't already. To locate a service center in your area, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

I'm sorry to hear you're receiving an error code on your DV218AEB/XAA dryer. The tO error code indicates there is likely an air flow restriction in the vents or perhaps the lint screen is clogged. Please try removing the lint screen and cleaning the housing area as thoroughly as possible. If you're unable to identify the source of the obstruction, please submit an online service request through the link below, or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue with your DV218AEB. Please make sure the door is closed and latched completely. If the door is not closed properly, the dryer will not run. Check the lint filter and vents to make sure there is no blockage of air. Try cycling the power to the dryer by unplugging/replugging or turn the circuit breaker off then on again. Reset the cycle and press the Start/Pause button. If the dryer still won't run, it will likely require service.
