Looking for Answers about samsung DP700A3B?

First make sure you have good internet service of course but beyond that make sure your not trying to double connect. Meaning if you have LAN connection then turn off the wifi. I find this sometimes can confuse the computer. Works much better with single connection.

Try uninstalling Internet Explorer and then installing it again. I had a problem where the touch function for the close button would not work so I had to uninstall and do it again and it worked fine.

most of the new computers dont come with recovery disks. you have to buy your own cd-r discs and it gives you the option to burn recovery disks which is recommended that its one of the first things you do when you get a computer

You may have to uninstall windows 7 and then reinstall. I think your system may have deleted the windows 7 firmware which is why it isn't recognizing it. If you cannot delete and reinstall contact Samsung's customer assistance phone number for assistance.

That little "off button" if you touch it lightly only puts the monitor to sleep - not the computer. If necessary, you can hold it & it will work like any other restart button on a PC, but you really should let Windows put the PC into Sleep mode.

If you are using Windows 7, use the option on the Start Menu to have it Sleep rather than Shut Down.

You can find the eject icon (up arrow with line underneath) on the far-left of the area atop the CD/DVD slot where the playback controls and power button are found. You can also eject the disc by left-clicking Start > Computer > right-clicking CD Drive > left-clicking Eject.

Try changing the permissions on the folder. See Windows Help to change permissions.

Did you try manually ejecting using very-difficult-to-see buttons on top of the cd slot (to the left of the power button, botton on the far left.

I had the same prob. :-( First touch the brightness control. Next to it is the Volume up, tap this and
the brightness will go back up. :-) For volume down, use the same method, but in reverse.
