Thanks for the question. The Samsung logo was changed recently (from "raised embossed" to "stenciled") on some products, but has not yet been updated on all models. We appreciate your feedback and will forward it on to the appropriate team.

Thank you for the question. Samsung is committed to manufacturing high-quality products and providing excellent customer service. The DMT800 is designed for connection to a 120V/60 Hz/15-amp power supply. If an issue arises that is related to the power, then in some cases an electrician may be needed to fix wiring in the home. If a defect with the dishwasher is identified, then it would likely be covered during the warranty period. For more information on the dishwasher's warranty, please call 800-SAMSUNG.

Question

Is there any way to fit this dishwasher into 33.75 inch height opening? Would removing the legs help?

If you remove the legs you will not be able to level the unit. The amount the legs protrude is only ~ a quarter inch when collapsed all the way. The part of the dishwasher that is behind the door would fit, but the door and the attachment brackets would not be able to get close enough to the cabinet to secure, so the dishwasher doesn't tilt when loading. Also if you take the legs off, you lessen the height of the channels that will contain the power and water lines. I had to modify the attachment brackets to fit my space, but height wasn't the issue. The only acceptable way I see would be to decrease the thickness of the counter above - my counter has enough depth to do that - would yours? Or replace the flooring only under the washer with tile or something that is not as thick.

Question

Cleaning stainless

I bought an 800 series stainless dishwasher. From the first week, I've had drips that won't go away no matter how many times I clean it with a stainless cleaner spray. Is there a special cleaning agent I should be using? It's only a couple months old and I keep looking at those drips and feeling very disappointed.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble keeping your stainless steel dishwasher clean. If the stainless steel cleaner you're using isn't helping, try applying a small amount of baby oil or WD40 onto a clean, dry, lint free cloth and using it to polish the stainless surface.

If your dishwasher has an odor, it is probably caused by a small amount of water left over from the last wash cycle. If the dishwasher is not used on a regular basis, water can sit in the bottom of the dishwasher and cause an odor.

To remove odors, add a chlorine based detergent, and run the dishwasher empty for an entire cycle. Please click here to view a short video with additional tips for keeping the dishwasher clean and odor-free: http://support-us.samsung.com/spsn/...

Additionally, check your garbage disposal. Usually, the garbage disposal and dishwasher use the same drainage pipe. If you notice the same odor coming from your sink, chances are that the garbage disposal needs to be cleared. Lastly, it's important to make sure the drain hose is installed and raised correctly to help prevent dirty water from draining back into the dishwasher after the cycle is complete. See the attached image or refer to your user manual for more information.

Thank you,
Ms. Samsung

No, The circuit breaker should not need to be reset. Occasionally with a brand new product it may trip once or twice but any further breaker trips indicates a heavier draw than allowed and warrants a professional electrician looking into the problem.
