Stainless Platinum is Samsung's stainless-look finish which resembles stainless steel but is fingerprint-resistant, magnetic and easy to clean with soap and water or other mild cleaner. Any finish can scratch, but Platinum is painted then coated for protection.

Samsung's black refrigerators are smooth and shiny on the front, and textured on the sides.

Cycle times may vary depending on the water pressure, drain conditions, and temperature of the supplied water. To optimize the efficiency of the dishwasher, the proper pressure of the supplied water should be 20~120 psi, and the temperature should be 120˚F.

Thank you for your interest. Samsung's dishwashers are available only in 24" widths. Though many of our refrigerators are available in Stainless Platinum, the dishwashers are available in Black, White and Platinum only at this time.

The DMR78AHB has its own hard food disposer with stainless steel blades for self-cleaning and a triple filtration system, so there's no need to have another disposer to hook it up to. This feature adds to the convenience of having a dishwasher, because it reduces the need to rinse your dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. According to Energy Star, pre-rinsing can use up to 20 gallons of water; therefore, not having to pre-rinse can save time, energy and money.

I would also suggest checking your water pressure and temperature to ensure they are set correctly to effectively dissolve the detergent and clean the dishes. The supplied water pressure should be between 20 and 120 psi, and the temperature should be at least 120˚F.
