Are you using the controls at the printer or at the PC? If you place the document in the ADF and then use the Smart Thru Office scan button you can choose it from the list.

If you need additional help let me know.

Looking for user ID and Password for SyncThru Web Service

I am looking for the defualt ID and password for my Samsung CLX-8540, I was unable to find this information in any of the documentation of this machine. PLease Help

The CLX-6220FX is "admin" and "sec00000". Let me know if that does not work.

I need to setup internet printing on my 8540. How do I do that.

I have a 8540 and need to print to it from two different net works. It print on one network. And need a 2ed network to print to it. I need to turn on internet printing.

why does the printer take so much time to calibrate?

Is there a way to turn calibration off during print jobs? It runs constantly and is always holding up print jobs in our office. It's ridiculous the time we wait for our printing needs.

What is the difference between using printing codes and authentication on the machine?

I would like to know the difference between the two and have any definitions of the description as well as how to set it up and use it- meaning how are the two different pieces suppose to be used in an office environment?
