There have been no changes in set up and yet all of a sudden we cannot print from the computer, receive faxes or scan to the computer. We have checked all connections, settings, etc. The router "sees" the printer and the computer shows it as on-line and ready. It acts like it is going to print, but doesn't. Should we completely uninstall and reinstall the printer?
The printer is not printing colors true to the color on the screen. What do I need to do?
When a document is printed, the colors are darker and muted compared to the colors on the computer screen. It seems to scan & print pictures true to color but isn't printing from the computer that way.
I have a CLX-6220FX connected to my Ethernet network. Printing and scanning work just fine from the Windows PC computers. Scanning is just fine on the MacBook and MacBookPro. I can print from Windows 7 running in VMWARE virtual machine on the MacBookPro.
I can NOT print from the MacBook or MacBookPro.
In the printer que window for the CLX-6220 i get always get the following messages:
Printing 'testprint' Connecting to printer... Media jam! Unable to connect to printer; will retry in 30 seconds
I have setup, added, deleted, and re-setup the provided software/drivers at least 6 times on each of the Apple computers.
Where can I look and what can I do to get the Apple computers to print to your CLX-6220 on Ethernet?
When printing my printer powers off and back on when the first sheet gets to the fuser. Then when it re-initializes i get a jam error. Its the paper that never got through the fuser before the the power going on and off.
The paper tray constantly locks into place and will not release when reinserting after reloading paper. The display says that the paper is empty when infact there is plenty of paper in the tray. i need help on how to reset this.
CLX-6220FX - How to disable Color Toner Consumption in black/white mode?
I have set my printer (CLX-6220FX) on b/w as standard mode as I need color only as an option. Now, my 3 color toners cartridges emptied by total prints of 85 color pages! I guess this is the permanent color toner calibration who eats this toner.
Is there a way, in black and white mode, to disable the color toner calibration?
