when we scan to pdf the file size is to large to deal with, we are only scanning a text page. what is the proper way to scan to a pdf file

i tried removing and reinstalling the cartridges, but it won't help at all

I have printed about 800 pages with only two lines of black letters in very small fonts. The printer is telling me that the black toner is empty. This cannot possibly be true. It would seem the printer is just guessing at the amount of toner left based on the number of copies. I refuse to replace toner when it is not really empty. What can I do?

Need to know before I tear into my new printer where the Memory card option is installed.

What is the default username and password to login to the Syncthru web service on this CLX-6220?

It doesn't appear to be listed in the manual.

Just replaced the cartridges with the same kind that have been in the printer for the past 2 months and now this error message appears and I cannot print.

The problem isn't isolated to one specific program on my computer. I have tried printing from Microsoft Word documents, notepad documents, and pdf documents and have encountered the problem each time. I have also tried printing from other computers as well as using documents created outside of our office. In addition, I have replaced all the cartridges and also shook all of the replacement cartridges. Any thoughts?

I am attaching a couple of scanned images of the prints in question. One is printed from a pdf, the other straight from Word. Some of the same words are in bold type face, but not all.

I cannot install neither the driver from the CD nor from the webpages (downloaded today: CLX-6220_Print.exe version .3.10.59).

I'm using WinXP SP3 English, the MLP is located on another subnet behind a router.

What can I do to install the drivers for the MLP?

Running windows vista. This happens when I try to print or browse the internet.

Last week I received my new printer and when trying to login this morning I get an invalid user name or password.

How can I do a hard reset on the printer or clear the memory. I tried the Clear memory/ all settings and it did not work.

Eventhough there is paper in the tray the machine shows an error stating no paper because the sensor arm fell off and we don't know where it goes

There have been no changes in set up and yet all of a sudden we cannot print from the computer, receive faxes or scan to the computer. We have checked all connections, settings, etc. The router "sees" the printer and the computer shows it as on-line and ready. It acts like it is going to print, but doesn't. Should we completely uninstall and reinstall the printer?

bought new CLX-6220FX. Great unit arrived in sealed box, but without either installation disk or manual. Where can I find them (to complete installation.)
