My CLP-620 on a USB port connection with 1 computer shared fine with another network computer until Monday when the Control Panel showed the networked computer's port setting changed and now trying to fix this and set up the printer on a wired router network both the computers will not keep the correct port setting. When the control panel shows a the wrong port, the printer settings will not even open. How do I change the port setting?
I too have the dreaded "Not Compatible Yellow Toner" Error!
I have a CLP-620D that was delivered a few weeks ago. Everything was working fine until tonight when I got the "Not Compatible Yellow Toner" message and I cannot clear it! I have reset the power, reseated the cartridge and cleaned the conacts .... no joy and no way of getting around the error message!?!?!? The Yellow Toner came with the printer, has hardly been used and I am reluctant to buy an expensive replacement. Having spent the last few hours Googling this fault it happens a lot with Samsung Laser Printers .... but NOT ONE SOLUTION HAS BEEN OFFERED!?!?!? HHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP .........................
why does my printer say paper jam in exit area after each print even though there is no paper jam?
It prints a paper, then it says paper jam in exit area, I look for the jam and there is nothing, then when I close the lid, it tries to re-print the original document. How do I stop this from happening?
All copies from my printer have a mottled gray background.
The print quality has degraded to the point of not being able to present a CLEAN sheet of paper. It looks dirty because of that pale grey aspect in the background. Everything else is OK. I tried cleaning the machine but it didn't help. I changed the transfert belt at 5000 pages because it was tearing apart. I've been using the printer CLP-620 ND, sn Z2ZWB1BSC00980L since august 2010. Page count is 6500 (4100 col/2400 mono). I need help on this please.
