I have no sound on any disc. I had sound before, and the TV has sound on it's own. I followed manual directions to troubleshoot. I set the disc to stop, I pressed menu, but when I try to toggle down to set-up, it goes to another page without set up options. I was trying to check audio output. Last week I connected to my wireless router, and Samsung downloaded updates????
I have updated the player, some of the B-Ray discs play others don't. I have set up the parental profile and that didn't seem to help. i'm thinking that I have a bum player. Please let me know what i should try next. Thanks
I have a Samsung Blu Ray BD-P1600 that has begun malfunctioning. It freezes up, control buttons on player and remote will not work all of the time,
display read out does not reflect action currently going on, such as when loading a movie the read out may actually say playing or off. I would like to try a cleaner first but cannot find one that is compatible. Can you please recommend a cleaner and/or any other helpful tips to try?
Model BD-P1600 locked up during NET-UP, What to do?
I had aN extra BD-P1600 in a box and decided to set-up 3rd TV. Upon powering up it indicate that a new update was available. I indicated ok. It updated and as expected shut down. Restart, and it indicated that there was another update available (it was a different message that before, it had more info). I indicated ok, went thru its routine up to the point of actually undating itself. Now stuck on "NET-UP". What should I do? Have not powered down yet.
Why isn't my internet connecting for Pandora and YouTube?
With direct connection, I can get Netflix to stream movies but for Pandora and YouTube, I keep getting the no internet connection message. This is with the latest FW update. Testing the internet also failed. With the original FW (prior to updating), I was able to get Netflix and Pandora to work. I've tried to connect the ethernet cable directly from the router and got the same problem. I've also reset the BD player. Anything else I should try?
