The Netflix activation code appears when you first launch the Netflix app.

That code will have to be entered online at the www.Netflix.com/activate website so that your player is linked with a Netflix account.

If you need to remove a device, you can do that at the www.netflix.com website. Any already registered device will be listed on the website.

Thanks for your support of Samsung products.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

You will need to log into your Netflix account on a desktop computer, click on "Your Account" from the top-right corner and then "Sign Out of All Devices".

Once that is done, please refer to the following support article for more info on reactivating the player with your account:

I’m sorry to hear that you're having this problem with your Blu-ray player.

I’d recommend trying to reset the unit by turning the unit on and making sure that the disc tray is empty. Then, press and hold the STOP button until the unit resets. Then, go through the initial setup and power down the unit. Then, try and restart the unit and you should have proper operation.

If you still continue to experience difficulty, I would recommend contacting the Samsung customer service center, and speaking to one of our chat agents at the following link:

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/

Or you can also call them directly at 1-800-SAMSUNG.

Subtitles can be enabled in the Language menu of the Blu-Ray discs.

While it's not mandated that studios provide subtitle options, many movie studios do provide that option on the disc, where you can enable it.

You should be prompted to install the update after putting the disc in.

Make sure that you turn the Blu-Ray player on first, and then place the update in the tray rather than starting the device with the DVD disc in the tray.

If you aren't receiving the prompt, you may want to try burning the file as an ISO to a CD again. Some updates are designed to be installed through the USB drive, and the two files are different and can't be interchanged.

When updates are rolled out by an App owner like Netflix, the old versions are uninstalled so that new versions can be installed. Netflix is available as a download from the “Video” section of Apps on applicable Samsung Blu-Ray players, and it is always available for download if it wasn’t automatically installed or updated on your player (provided you live in a region where Netflix is available, and your player supports the Netflix App).

If you are still unable to install Netflix, or the App has disappeared and you aren't able to find it in the Apps section, please reach out to the Samsung customer service center at 800-SAMSUNG or speak with one of our technicians at the chat link below:

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/

We’re committed to quality customer care, so if we can assist, please reach out.

Thanks for your continued support of Samsung products!

Some discs have that warning no matter what update or player it is played in.

In most cases, you can bypass this message by pressing the FF>> button or by skipping to the next chapter of the Blu-Ray title.

Question

Why won't it play DVD's?

RE: BD-P1600 unit: Further to my last question, which has received NO ANSWER, I have done EVERYTHING to ensure it is NOT a problem with the lens - i.e. - cleaning, etc. The BLU RAY lens works perfectly, Blu Ray movies play perfectly, the unit WILL PLAY CD's (I am assuming, using the SAME LENS as used for regular DVD's...) - SO - WHY WILL IT NO LONGER PLAY A "REGULAR" DVD, this happened AFTER I upgraded to FirmWare V2.19 (the latest) - I can thus only "assume" that the FW update is THE PROBLEM. WHAT IS GOING ON?

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

Log into the current Netflix account that your player is linked to (on the Netflix website) via a computer and select "Deactivate the device". Once that's done, LOG OUT of the account. Now, run the Netflix App on the Blu-Ray player. It will ask for a new code. Log into the new account you want to use, and then go to http://www.netflix.com/Activate **while logged in with the new account**. Enter the code from the screen into the webpage, and your player should reflect the queued titles in your player.
