Removing the necessary 1 GB of memory on a USB drive is one way to keep BD-Live from working.

But to turn off the feature using the remote control, press the following buttons in your Blu-ray player's menu:

Setup > Network Setup > BD-Live Internet Connection > Don't Allow

More detail information on this process can be found on page 48 of the owner's manual.

Thanks for your support of Samsung products.

You can do this by registering your Samsung Blu-ray player on the Samsung support page:

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/a...

If your unit is connected to the Internet, you be notified with the pop-up on the screen when new firmware updates are available. As well, you can always check the following website for your specific model to see if you have the latest update at any time:

It is Wi-Fi capable, however the Wi-Fi is not included on the player.

In order to make your Blu-ray player connect wirelessly to your router, you'll need to purchase the separate Samsung WIS09ABGN LinkStick wireless adapter. This can be found at many national retail stores, as well as the www.Samsungparts.com website.

Instructions on how to configure your Blu-ray player after connecting the WIS09ABGN LinkStick can be found on page 30 of the owner's manual.

We appreciate your support of Samsung products and hope this enhances your enjoyment.

The player wants you to do a firmware upgrade. When there is a new firmware out, your player will ask you to upgrade with a "Yes"/"no" prompt. Be warned, if you choose yes there is a good chance your player will stop working altogether.

The recommended connection is through the modem directly, or attached to a wired router or transmitting wirelessly to a wireless router. We can't support connections through computers for the network.

There could be any number of reasons why Netflix movies rebuffer.

It could be that the home network data streaming might be slow. Check to make sure that nobody is watching streaming video or taking otherwise excessive amounts of bandwidth during the time that you're watching a Netflix movie.

It may also be that you neighborhood network speed is slow, and this can happen with shared Internet connections are neighborhood cable connections. Often times on certain days, bandwidth can be used more, as they also affect the speed and availability of bandwidth.

Finally the servers streaming movies may be causing the buffering, or it might also be an issue with the settings in your router. None of these are issues that Samsung's customer service can assist with.

It is difficult to determine which variable is causing the rebuffer situation. If you need assistance, you may want to reach out and start with your router first. Contact the customer service center of your routers manufacturer and see if they can assist with settings. From there to see if it's an issue with your network or your service.
