In some cases, the firmware in the player needs to be updated to come into compliance with the additional protections that movie studios can add to discs. As a result, the firmware updates allow the players to be adaptable to these changes.
For your specific player, the updates can be updated in the player itself (by connecting with Ethernet cable to your router or modem) or by downloading the firmware updates from our support site.

Once updated, your discs should be able to play.
