MLB may be writing the code for their App with the new 2013 Samsung Apps platform - as each App owner would need to do as new product become available in the market.

Below is a link of all available products MLB.TV is on currently, and this list may be updated at any time.

Please know that Samsung is aware that customers wish to have the ability to remove any registered products they no longer own from their accounts. Question

Difference between models

what is the difference between BD-FM59C that I only see at Sam's Club and the BD-F5900 that I can find almost everywhere else. The specs I can find seem like same device with a different model number so Sam's can sell it for less that others are able to sell the 5900.

Can you highlight the differences? We are looking to replace our older BD-1590.

trouble with optical audio output

I am running an optical audio cable out to my receiver (no HDMI). It works in PCM mode, but apparently only 2 channels. When I try to output in any of the bitstream modes, there is no audio at all. Am I missing something?

When you launch the app, it should provide an activation code. You'll need to enter this activation code at the following website to activate the player. If you press OK without activating the app, you'll see a licensing error message, but it only appears because you haven't yet activated the app.
