Ultimately, Netflix decides which models to add the subtitle features to, and they've put a live page specifically for Samsung players. That way, Netflix can update it at any time.

Keep in mind that BD models denote Blu-Ray Disc players, and HT models denote Home Theater Blu-Ray systems.

Bad customer service experience/help with repair of Blue Ray player

Please reference Service Ticket #4116962173 on Blue Ray player S/N ZB7F6V3B955880T. I have not received email from customer service on where to send product for repair or replacement.

According to our home theater specialist, the logo was updated, but she states that the app should still be accessible via Smart Hub. If you cannot find it, we recommend you reset Smart Hub.

Netflix does not appear in Apps

I have BD-D6500 and netflix started their business in Finland last month. For some reason I don't have netflix application in my Blueray Smart tv applications. Can some tell how to get it appear on screen so that I can start to use it? I alreay have an netflix account in internet.

Question

Netflix Button on Remote

After the last firmware update, If I use the Netflix button on the remote it gives me an error saying " No internet connection". If I use the Hub and access Netflix through the Internet Tab it works ok. That really sucks to have to go through extra screens then wait on the very slow menu to appear. MY QUESTION IS " Is there a fix for this broken feature? Its things like this the makes consumers hate a brands and never puchase them again. My XBOX works flawlessly with Netflx even after several updates.

Question

Can't play Avatar 3D

I have tried two copies of the Avatar 3D that released on 10/16/2012. Both copies do the same thing. They play fine for over an hour, but at certain places (many of them) the movie jerks or stops momentarily or it seems to skip a frame or more and sometimes plays without any sound at all. Is there an update for the firmware coming soon that will fix this? I have been waiting for an update to make my IMAX Space Station 3D work (it plays but in 2D), but nothing yet (over 3 months).

merging passwords

How do you merge passwords,

I have a AQUOS TV and the 6500za blue ray, when I go to use an app or log in it immediately goes into the merge password modes. I put in the passwords and the say screen keeps coming up......what is the fix? I also use the same passwords on both units and on all apps.

You need to walk through you setu and allow you to find you wireless access point and provide the correct SSID.

Why can't I connect to internet wirelessly?

When I attempt to connect to wireless network, an error message states," Samsung Wireless LAN Adapter is not connected. Connect Wireless LAN Adapter to configure wireless network setting". This is a BD-D6500Z/A with internal wireless capability. This player does not appear to be smart at the moment. I have reset to factory settings and performed power reset? What's up?

Question

the Netflix app.

I have followed all of the instructions to get Netflix on my Blueray, as well as registering my Samsung product on-line. It will not sustain a connection to the internet, although it states that it is online. It will play for a few minutes, or up to half and hour and then lose it. I have five (5)bars, the maximum of connectivity on my router. I have had no problems with the Blueray and Netflix app in the livingroom. I believe the problem lies with the Samsung. I have no problem with my computer or Silverlight and all are updated. Please help.

Eureka! I found the answer to the problem. Once again, I pushed the WPS button, connected to internet, and clicked Red A Button and signed in. While the Red Netflix app was onscreen I clicked the arrows up,up,down,down, left, right, left, right, up, up, up, up in those precise directions and when "deactivate" appeared on Netflix screen I clicked on it and then the activation process began again, which I followed. Every time I need to sign into my account, but it stays connected and seldom needs rebufferring unless I have started and stopped it several times, which I do if I need to leave the room for any length of time. Thank you. Netflix gave me the answer to the deactivation directions and it is on their website as an answer to problems staying connected. It was a Netflix issue, not the fault of Samsung or my internet carrier after all.

Can't play Blu-ray formatted dics

When we load a Blu-ray disc nothing happens - blank screen. Most function keys when pressed result in an "Unavailable" message. Non-Blu-ray discs play OK.

Files sharing.

My Blu-ray player and computer use to communicate and share files through Wi-Fi until I had to replace my modem. The Blu-ray player in networked and connected to my Wi-Fi but I cannot figure out how to get my computer and Blu-ray player to communicate again

Question

How come with the new Avengers Blue Ray the buffer fills up after a minute or two?

Got the new Avengers Blue Ray and after a minute or two looks like it backs up the buffer and the movie is "jumpy" afterwards. New upgrade done, reset the player, Hunger Games played fine and the movie played fine in my PS3 which hasn't had an upgrade for a while!
