I'm sorry to hear that you're having these issues.

These issues can be the result of a time-out in the router, a firewall issue or any number of variables. You may want to check with your router manufacturer to see if there are settings that they recommend for streaming video from one device to another.

Same thing happened to me. i had to change the settings on my router to a WEP and run the shared option on my router start up disk. Basically re load my router cd and make those changes. I have a samsung smart tv and it was working fine but when i added the second wireless item the changes were needed for it to work for me. Now have netflix running on both at the same time with no problems.

Yes, Netflix comes as an already installed App. No credit card is needed, except for the billing directly through Netflix, of course.

Providing Samsung with a credit card is not necessary for Netflix.

Not unless they created one. At this time I'm not available of one.

However, there is an App for Facebook and Twitter, and you can subscribe to NPR's feed that way - that's one way of following your favorite groups.

If you'd like to contact NPR regarding having a specific App for streaming the show or reading articles, that would be different. They would have to author an App for the Samsung platform, and information on how to do that can be found here:

It depends on what the files are, and what kind of files are supported. MP3. for instance is supported, where as ACC is not.

Specific kind of files and share devices are supported for streaming. Not knowing what you've tried, check the manual for set up instructions. If you have already tried those, and nothing works, try reaching out to the Samsung customer service center at 800-SAMSUNG for further assistance.

If you're looking for codes for a universal remote control, you'll need to contact the manufacturer of the universal remote to see what Samsung codes they've assigned for their device.

How do I resolve streaming issue with Netflix on Samsung Blue Ray Model # BD-D5700

I recently purchased a Samsung Blue Ray Player Model #BD-D5700 and I am continaully receiving a error message saying "buffering" and unable to connect to network when playing Netflix movies. This is happening despite the fact that my home computer is recieving a very strong signal both wirelessly and hard wired. Is there a fix for this issue ( I.e. software download)? Please advise if other customers are experiencing this issue.

This may be due to a router limitation, or another device on your network that is slowing your network speed.

We can't assist with home networks, however. I'd recommend first contacting the customer service center for your router's manufacturer first to make sure settings, firewalls and other factors are set properly.

If you still feel this may be an issue with your player, try reaching out to our customer service center at 800-SAMSUNG for further assistance.
