Looking for Answers about samsung BD-D5700?

After the latest firmware update, when we access the Smart Hub, the picture is fractured. You can access applications but it is a guessing game because you don't know where you will be when you select the application. When you select the application like Netflix or Pandora, the picture is basically gone except for a small sliver of light that may move. Audio, seems to come in fine on Pandora. The Blu-Ray seems to work fine, is this a software, or hardware issue?

I just purchased the BD-D5700 blu-ray player in the US.
It seems I can only play DVDs for the US region.
I have many DVDs I purchased while in Europe but I can't seem to be able to play them here. How can I make my blu-ray play multiple regions?

There is nor picture on TV. All red, white, and yellow cables are connected. There is audio

I need to reset my netflix account. My son helped me set up the bluray and used his account initially to set up netflix because I didn't have an account yet. I'd like to enter my own account.

Basically I wanted to know if I could use it for other websites
