Looking for Answers about samsung BD-D5250C?

I've connected the blu-ray player to my router through the wired network. I was able to connect the first time, get an IP address from the DHCP server on my router, and update the firmware on the BD successfully. But now each time I try the network status through the menu, it says it can't connect or get an IP address.

I tried two different cables, both cables work on other devices, and on the back of the router, the light comes on and flashes, showing that there is network activity on the BD.

My router tells me it assigned an IP address to the MAC of the BD, though it's not showing up in the DHCP list. I've even hard-coded the BD to the address the router states it should have, and still the BD says it can't connect.

Is it an issue with the updated firmware? Is it a hardware issue? Anything else I can try to get it working?

The player is hooked up through a hdmi port to a Sony STR-DH710 receiver.

When I play a Blu-ray disc the video (lips of actor) moves before the sound is heard. The player is connected by HDMI cable directly to the TV. It will work for a while and then the sound won't sync with the video. Is this common? Is there a fix in the settings?

We purchased a a Samsung Blu-Ray BD-D5250c and am not pleased to discover we need to purchase an additional item ie Lan adaptor. I do not see any info on the specs for this item in the manual. Can I purchase any Lan adaptor? Lennie

Can you use any other universal wireless adapter???

When I try to use it once I get to the hub menu it says it needs to update and I click OK then it goes into update and gets stuck...

HDMI plugged in. Tried different HDMI ports.

I USED THE CHECK IF YOUR PRODUCT IS COMPATIBLE LINK AND IT SAID NO IT WAS NOT GUARANTIED TO WORK IF THIS WONT WORK THEN I SHOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT AND THATS A PRETTY PRICY ADAPTER FOR NO MORE THAN IT DOES THINKING I SHOULD RETURN THIS AND GET SOMETHING THAT COMES WITH THE ADAPTER

The first 3-4 times netflix connected, now it won't.

I have a Samsung BD-D5250C hooked up via HDMI to a Samsung UN46D6000 LED TV, and a single Optical Cable from the TV to my Surround receiver. It doesn't appear that the BD-D5250C will pass surround sound thru the HDMI, and all options I select, indicate to downmix the multi-channel signal into stereo. There doesn't appear to be an option to turn this off. I realize I can fix this problem by also hooking an optical cable from the BD-D5250C to the Surround receiver, but it seems redundant, and unnecessary, to have to do so, since HDMI is capable of passing Surround signal.

I got this as a gift and I can not figure out how to set the whole thing up. The only way i have been able to make it stop is to unplug the blue ray completely.

When I go to www.samsung.com/bluraysupport, the drop down menu does not show the model number for my Blu-ray player.
