Try this link. It'll download to your PC and then you'll have to transfer to your player via flashdrive. The guy told me to clear out EVERYTHING on the flashdrive, too.

Verify the network setting in the BD-C5500, in the DNS server section try other IP from your internet service provider. In my case I had 2 IP address and my bluray player always get the first one, and this address was not working. When I put the second DNS server number is working properly and the device connect with the internet.

Not all manufactures will have codes that are represented in the owners manual. We offer the codes for a large array of television manufacturers, and while we are able to offer a wide selection, not all manufacturers or all products will be available.

In this case this particular manufacturer is not supported, as codes are not available in the manual.

Have you noticed an enter/play button on the screen? Make sure you are playing the correct disc, some movies come with 2 discs. One for previews only. Good luck.

Enter Netflix and try to sign-in, if that doesn't work go to your computer and authorize the Samsung device. I had to play around in my Netflix account before it would work. Once I did that it worked fine through my Blue-ray player.

I am assuming you have your blu-ray registered with samsung. just go to the "my account" tab. scroll down to the blu-ray player. Then next to the picture of your blu-ray should be several option. Click on the one that says download. Scrol down to the one you need and download it.

I found this on the internet and it was extremely helpful.

Your Apps Site ID is your email address you use when you register on the Samsung site to register your products. Use the password that you used there, too.

So, on your Blu Ray, you have to

1: go into Internet TV,
2: Create your Login ID and 4-digit pin for Internet TV
3: Manage your App account > App Account
4: You have to enter your 4-digit pin from step 2
5: At Samsung Apps, click Connect
6: Your Apps Site ID is your email address from the Samsung website registration and your password is your password from the Samsung site registration.

Question

which do I connect to the internet, the tv or the dvd blueray?

I have a bluray and a tv both new and both are samsung. I have the tv hooked to the internet but I cant get to the games and stuff. I also have a computer hooked to the tv with a wireless going to the computer.

The tv to the fios box is hdmi, the computer to the tv screen is hdmi, right now the bluray to the tv is analog but that is to change soon as I get time.

Is there an easy way to hook up everything? should I have to bluray wireless instead of the tv? or do I need both of them hooked to the internet?

We need more information such as your connection type. Are you using a wireless or wired connection? Does the music freeze when using a wired connection or only wireless? What is the firmware version currently on your player? If using a wireless connection, what type of router are you using? A wireless A/B/G or N router? Distance from the BD? Have you changed router channels to avoid interference? How many devices are connected to your network while streaming Pandora and does it make a difference if some or all are removed?

I thought I was the only one with this problem -- but apparently I'm not the only one. Well, what I figured out is, the type of audio for the movie is NOT supported with our blu-ray player. I even talked to a representative of samsung the other night and he too said that "4.0 audio DTS" isn't supported on our blu-ray player -- and our player is "too new" for that type of blu-ray (which I think is unheard of?) I don't know why it won't work, but yeah -- it doesn't. I even asked about upgrading the firmware and mine has the current update; the representative told me they'd do what they can to look into it -- but it's unlikely it will play. You can still watch/listen to the movie with the commentary on -- which I found out by using the "AUDIO" button on the remote to listen to the actors and the commentary by Burton. I'm hoping the re-release this with a product that plays though (unlikely at this point that they will.) I'm sorry yours didn't work -- mine didn't either :-(

If this is for a third-party remote, "universal" remote or other device, the code banks for Samsung remote codes are available from the manufacturer of the third-party or universal remote.

Unfortunately, we don't have access to how other companies assign our code banks to their products.
