Looking for Answers about samsung 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor?

Computer was overloaded and had to shut off - now, the monitor isn't getting detected, although I hear the sound when it plugs in.

The bottom of the print screen is cut off and I cannot scroll down to select the print button

Connected B2030 monitor to old PC running Windows 2000. Video card is 16MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra. Recommended setting was 1600 x 900 and 60 Hz. The 'settings' tab won't let me go any higher than 1152 x 864. Monitor driver was installed properly. When I select 'advanced' from the settings page, I get properties for ' SyncMaster B2030 (Analog) and 16 MB ATI Rate 128 Ultra'. The modes listed for the adapter only go to 1152 x 864. Does this mean that I can't use this monitor with this machine? Is there a way to ensure that there's no distortion? My husband does CAD work with this machine.

As I move the selector in its bar, the square frame changes from light to dark. There are no instructions as to what I should be looking for in order to optimize the monitor. Should the frame darkness match the darkness of the grid background?

Monitor Model B2030

While watching videos on my B2030 SyncMaster, I've noticed that there is line glitches as the video (or other motion) plays. It's almost as if a line twitches in the middle of the screen during motion. Is there a quality difference in using a DVI vs a VGA? I'm currently using VGA cord. I have two monitors (both B2030) and both monitors experience the same problem. I've swapped out the cords, but am still experiencing the lines during videos. I don't know if this is a monitor problem or a cord problem. I'd hope that a VGA cord would only affect resolution, and not result in motion glitches. Please advise.

I just purchased two B2030 monitors. When I inserted the support CD, the only file that appeared was an audio file that would not play (both CDs did this). No installation or other options. I also tried to download the same information from the Samsung page (Suppport -> Model -> Download), but nothing ever appeared. The page would not load in either Internet Explorer or Mozilla. Please advise on how to acquire the aforementioned data.
