The default passkey for our Samsung Bluetooth headset would be "0000". If it will not work, passkey will depend on the other device that you're trying to pair up.

Thank you for your inquiry.

The WEP460 is a Mono Bluetooth Headset and you can't stream music using a Mono Bluetooth Headset.
You can only make calls and answer calls using the WEP460.
You need to purchase a Stereo Bluetooth Headset for you to be able to stream music from the PC.

Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry. What we can offer for the Bluetooth headset would be the default password on the AWEP460JBE which could be “0000”.

Regarding about your concern, the Bluetooth headset WEP460 is not compatible with the PlayStation 3 because the WEP460 only supports Headset Profile, Hands-Free Profile which can only be use for voice call and connecting to the car.

For you to pair a Bluetooth headset to the device, the device must support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), which is a Bluetooth profile that allows for the wireless transmission of stereo audio from an A2DP source (typically a phone or computer) to an A2DP receiver (a set of Bluetooth headphones or stereo system).

Thank you for your correspondence. It is possible that the volume of the phone is set too low; you may adjust the volume of the handset while on the call or volume buttons on the Bluetooth headset.

You may also try doing the soft reset on the phone by taking out the battery for at least 10-15 seconds and then put the battery back in and also turn it Off the Bluetooth headset for at least 10-15 seconds and turn it On again to pair with the phone again and then evaluate it. If it's still doing the same thing, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

The WEP460 Bluetooth headset does not support Bluetooth Profile Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), also known as "Bluetooth Stereo Profile", which allows stereo quality audio to be streamed from a media source to a connected device.

Regarding about your concern, the WEP460 is not compatible with the device.

Since the plastic ear hook is just part of an accessory that came with the Bluetooth headset and it’s not covered by the warranty of the Bluetooth device then you can obtain an ear hook by purchasing new one. You may directly contact our Samsung Accessory Department for the process.

The earhook and earbud is not covered by the warranty. If the earhook of your WEP460 broke, then you may purchase a new earhook.

If you would prefer to order by phone, please contact our Accessories Department by dialing toll-free 1-800-757-0280 and choosing option:
2 to purchase genuine Samsung Accessories

Most issues like this may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone.
