My Syncmaster 932BW monitor will not hold the optimum settings of 1440x900.
Have downloaded drivers for laptop and from Samsung for the monitor. Optimum settings of 1440x900 will appear in Nvidia Control Panel randomly. When I boot my computer 1440x900 is not available as a setting choice however this selection may simply appear after the computer has been running for some period of time.
I am stuck with Windows Vista which seems to demand two monitors. I only have one, plus my laptop screen itself, which is not used when I use the monitor. The driver installs into monitor 2, which is not available to select. When I go to monitor 1 properties and select the syncmaster the system ignores this, it shows "multiple" monitors and always hard defaults to the 'generic pnp monitor". How do I get this horrid operating system to recognize that the syncmaster is being used?
Why does my Samsung 932BW (Analog) monitor flicker?
My monitor has been flickering non-stop for a few months now. I've been putting the screen to sleep and turning it off after every night and when I turn it on, it starts flickering again. How do I fix this?
