I've had success with using the supplied cloth and a very light mist of windex on the cloth to remove any smudges. If it's just general dust, just use the cloth wiping horizontally across the screen.
Use any clean microfiber cloth, or I use a swiffer cloth to get the dust off.

MY LCD MONITOR MDL 2333T HAS 6 BUTTONS ON ITS SIDE. WHAT ARE THEY?
THE BUTTONS ARE BLACK ON BLACK. I GUESSED THE LOWEST BUTTON TO BE POWER. BUT WHEN A SUPPORT RESPONSE INSTRUCTED ME TO HIT THE "SOURCE" BUTTON I HAD NO IDEA WHICH ONE TO HIT.

If you look at the buttons on the side under light they are all labeled. I believe menu is on the top.
I am having problem extending desktop screen to the full screen. Any suggestions? I have setting at 1920x1080. If setting is less the monitor is not clear....

The monitor should support 1920x1080 but your video card maybe could not. Check and update your video card drivers.
My display setting does not go up to the 1920x1080. I downloaded the driver but how do I make it run?

Your video card may not support this resolution. Check the specifications for your video card and for your integrated graphics if you do not have a discreet video card. You may need to upgrade your video card.

My Samsung SyncMaster 2333T has serious shadows on all text, no matter what settings I use. The image also vibrates from time to time. I'm using it as an external monitor with a 2.4 GHz MacBook Pro, using a VGA connection.

Sounds like you're getting some electromagnetic interference. Try moving it away from other electronics/speakers/phones, etc

SYNC MASTER 2333SW, MODEL CODE LS23CMZKVB/ZA
We took my computer tower in for repair, brought it home and hooked it back up to the above mentioned monitor that I have been using with this computer for the past year but now my monitor suddenly does not display anything but instead flashes different colors. I had to bring out an old montior I had in order to use my computer (the old monitor is working perfectly fine). Any suggestions?

I suggest that you first isolate the monitor by turning off the computer and disconnect the monitor from the computer and running a Monitor Self-Diagnosis.
Form the user manual section 5.1: "Monitor Self-Diagnosis • You can check if the product is working properly using the Self-Diagnosis function.
• If a blank screen is displayed and the Power LED blinks even if the product and the PC are properly connected, perform the self-diagnosis function according to the procedures below. 1. Turn the product and the PC off. 2. Separate the signal cable from the product . 3. Turn the product on. 4. If the product is working properly, the <Check Signal Cable> message appears. In this case, if a blank screen is displayed again, make sure that there is no problem with the PC and the connection. The product is working properly.
Otherwise, if the monitor is working properly then try adjusting your computer to a lower resolution within monitor specification. Check the documentation that came with your display for the best rate. If you turn the power on after purchasing the Samsung monitor, a message regarding the optimal resolution setting appears on the screen. Select a language and the optimal resolution.
If that does not work then check your cable connections are correct and/or try a different monitor cable.

Can I use a Single Link DVI cable?
I need to connect an HDMI computer to my 2333T monitor. I purchased an HDMI to DVI cable, but the DVI is a single link. The DVI connection on the monitor is for a double link, but the single link fits & the monitor works fine with it. I would like to know if I should use the single link cable I purchased or if I would get better quality resoluntin of I use a double link DVI connector. Please advise. Thank you.

How does one remove the bottom stand mount from the 2333T monitor?
I'm trying to remove the bottom mount (not the stand but the mount to which the stand attaches) which is shipped already attached to the monitor so I can attach wall mount instead - using a 6-monitor desk multi-monitor mounting device. I see the user guide video where the bottom mount seems to just slide out effortlessly for wall mounting purposes, but I'm having no luck at all removing the bottom mount. Not obvious to me how the piece should be removed. How does this happen mechanically?

How do I switch between the two computers connected to my monitor?
I have a laptop in a docking station connected via an hdmi cable and a desktop PC connected through the monitor cable to the monitor. I was told by the sales clerk that to simply switch between the two I only had to press an input button on the monitor. I have messed with this for hours and have been unable to do so on my 23" SyncMaster monitor. Any help would be greatly appreciated since my return policy is 14 days, and I will be out of town all next week.
