206BW Repeating Power-On & Power-Off every 2 seconds
When the monitor was turned on, it turns itself on and off every couple seconds. After a while monitor was normal (Stayed On) but the duration became longer and now it does not stay on at all. I connected another monitor with same power cable and analog connecter and there was no problem.
Since I had the monitor repaired. Once I turn off the computer the blue light on the power button keeps on blinking. There is no way to turn it off unless I unplug the unit. This causes another problem in that sometimes it will not turn on unless I push in the plug in the cord into the back of the monitor very hard.
My Model 206BW Monitor is 4 years old. It has a problem when it first turns on. Is it worth repairing?
The problem is that the display when first turned on repeatedly displays for 1 second then goes off for 2 to 3 seconds. This process continues for 1 to 2 minutes until the dislay comes on constantly. After that it works fine until it is shut off.
My Samsung 206bw monitor flashes on and off for about 10 minutes. During that time you are able to see the desktop between blinks. After about 10 minutes or so the screen becomes normal and it is fine, unless you leave for an extended period, then it starts blinking again.
