when your video card is not getting enough power it will show you a red screen. this is a common feature added into the designs of all cards . what you need to do first is check and make sure your power plug is attached to the back of your video card second make sure all plugs are connected and meet the wattage of your video card it should be between 380W-400W and a minimum of 18 Amps this is the standard requirements to all video cards i had a x1550 and this is what it needed to run properly. i hope this helps you ..........

Where can I get my LCD repaired?
I have an LCD that struggles to turn on (slowly flickers on/off), but eventually turns on and works perfectly. But sometimes it takes an hour or four for this to happen. What might be the problem, and where can I get it fixed?
The power light is on but the screen is blank. I unplugged it from my computer and turned it on and the picture with the three color squares came up. Any suggestion's as to how to correct this problem or is the monitor shot. I hooked up my old monitor and it works fine. The monitor is the SyncMaster 205BW.
I just connected my 205 BW monitor to a laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and now the screeen blacks out
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and now the screeen blacks out as it switches between websites and and some screens in Windows. It didn't do this in any other version of windows. Any ideas on what is causing this or how to correct it?
Why is my monitor blinking on and off when first turned on?
The monitor will be black then flash the screen with digital or analog in the corner for half a second. Then it will go black. If a period of time is allowed to pass the screen stops blinking on and off.
Since connecting to a slightly newer Dell Pentium 4 computer with a ATI Rage 128 Pro card my colors are not right. I have updated drivers for the card and searched for every thing I thought my control this including the settings buttons on the monitor itself. What's wrong?
I have just upgraded my PC and now have a dvi port. Often, but not always, when I come to use the PC when the screen comes back on it is a dull red. After reading the manual I am not sure if I am supposed to have both the vga and dvi cables attached.
What can I do about the display not being ready when I activate the PC?
